The Yari Story

I started Yari with my mother to create jewelry that carries meaning and purpose. It is a way to honor women who inspire me and to give back through microfinance and financial literacy programs for the next generation of girls. As Yari grows, we aim to highlight women’s stories and celebrate the strength, creativity, and leadership of diverse, powerful women.

To my mother, my sister, my family. To the women I look up to and the ones just starting out. From the way my mom strung pearls into necklaces, quietly stringing at the jewelry store's craft table. From a seashell necklace my dad made for her when they first met in California. Humble, handmade, full of intention. That was the beginning. What came next was passed down, shaped by hands, carried through love, through hard work, and joyful moments.

This is our little legacy, expanded. Rooted in our Filipina and Asian-American heritage, built through craft, care, and a belief in what women can do when they’re seen, supported, and truly resourced. To the women building lives, businesses, families, and futures, and the girls learning to invest in themselves.

We are here to honor you in real value, the kind that grows, holds, and reflects who you are. Every piece is a reminder of what becomes possible when women are supported in building freely.

With love,
Nadine
