Jewelry Care & Tips

Your YARI pieces are solid 14k gold. They are built to last and will not tarnish, fade, or require replating. With basic care they will look the same in twenty years as they do today.

Cleaning

Clean your pieces regularly with a soft lint-free cloth after wearing. For a deeper clean, use warm water, a drop of mild dish soap, and a soft-bristle brush. Work gently around settings and stones, rinse thoroughly, and pat dry. Do not use ultrasonic cleaners, harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cloths.

Stones

Lab-grown diamonds are extremely hard and durable, but the settings holding them need attention over time. Every six months, take a close look at the prongs holding your stones. If any look bent, raised, or uneven, stop wearing the piece and email support@yaridesigns.com before a stone is lost.

Storage

Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or lined box. Gold can scratch against other metals and stones. Keeping pieces apart maintains their finish over time.

Wearing

Remove your jewelry before swimming, showering, exercising, cleaning, or applying products like lotion, perfume, or hairspray. Chlorine and chemicals will not damage solid gold permanently but will dull its finish over time. Physical impact can bend prongs and loosen stones.

Maintenance

If your piece ever needs a repair or prong check, email support@yaridesigns.com with photos and a description. We will assess it and send you a quote before anything is scheduled. You cover shipping both ways. Any repairs or resizing performed outside of YARI will void your warranty.
